Just a reminder that there is a test Monday on chapters 2 and 3 of the Ancient Worlds Text. Students should look over their Cornell notes and know definitions of words but do not need to know specific years for anything.

I’m BAAAACK!
Hi everyone. I will be trying to update the FB page as well as our blog now that we are back in the swing of things after New Years. I will also be trying to get all marks entered into CIMS this weekend so you can check on your progress.
The work we have done since New Years has been:
-RSS16 worksheet
-”Did You Know” …W…orksheet,
-Hypothesis Change… Paragraph
-Theories of Human Beginnings… Notes
-Evidence of Early Humans ….Webs (in groups)
Please make sure you have handed in each of these assignments to be up to date for Term 2. Of course if you have not completed the Persuasive Writing essays from before Christmas they are still due. You can see me during lunch hours to get help if you are still having trouble.

Thanks you so much to everyone who has sent in their spare change from their coin jar! We now have over $70 and the students should be able to vote on how to contribute the money on Thursday when the final count is in. I am in the process of marking essays still as I wasn’t able to get to them this weekend. Because I am marking them on a rubric, the mark won’t be posted on Parent Connect. Your son or daughter should have a sheet with areas highlighted to show how they did and where they need to focus. (hopefully by tomorrow) If you can go over that with them in this crazy busy time of year, that would be great!
Secret Santa gifts should be here by tomorrow please or students should talk to me if they aren’t able to get one together.
